Obituary
With great sadness, the family of Gladys Ann McGrath wish to announce her passing which occurred on December 16, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 17, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Mercer) McGrath.
Gladys loved the work she did in Housekeeping at St Josephs’ Hospital, most of her years in the Day Surgery department. For many years Gladys enjoyed bowling with all of her teammates from St Josephs’ Hospital. She enjoyed the time she was a resident of the Loch Lomond Villa apartments and all the friendships she made there.
Gladys’ family would like to thank the staff at mental health for the selfless care they gave her over the years and thank the staff and management of Josephs’ Care, Home for the wonderful care she received over the past two and a half years.
She is survived by her brothers; Fred (Patti), Wayne and Paul, her sisters; Phyllis Titus (William) and Dianne McRae (Blaine), all from the Greater Saint John Area, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Arthur, Stephen, Peter and Terry, and her sister Gail Brideau.
