It is with a heavy heart and loving memories that we say goodbye to the rock that was the foundation of our lives. Loving husband, father and friend he will forever be remembered as a kind, generous and loving soul. Always there for friends and family, willing to lend a hand or ease other’s burden. He lived his life with purpose and was a man of many talents. Never afraid to try, always one to learn something new, and take on new challenges. Sitting idle was not in his vocabulary and he was often found in his shop or puttering about the house creating or fixing something. After a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer, our husband, father, friend and loved one lost his battle and is now resting in peace, free from pain. Survived by Betty, his loving wife of 55 years, daughter Colleen and partner Trevor, daughter Shelley (Clifford), grandchildren, Jeremy (Tamara), Samantha and partner Jayme, Mishaila and Timothy, great-grandsons Jayden, Kyler, David and Cohen, sister Linda (Frank), sister-in-law June (Bob), among many other loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by father Stanley, aunt Velma, mother Olive (Cliff), mother and father-in-law Alma and Charlie, sister-in-law Ruth (Ernie), nieces Deb and Daphne. In lieu flowers, donations can be made to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We would like to express our deepest appreciation and send a heartfelt thank you to the many professionals that supported us through this challenging time. A special thank you to Dr. Poulin, your kindness, generosity and compassion will never be forgotten. Your support truly made the impossible, possible. All the lovely, and numerous members of Interior Health who went above and beyond to keep him comfortable and support us through this challenging time. We could never have managed without you. Dr. Humphries and all the kind staff members at the McMurtry and Baerg Cancer Center, the amazing nurses and doctors in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital and Nolan’s Pharmacy.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Kenneth Ernest Knott December 1st 2021..
