Obituary of Ronald Stephen Mitton
Mr. Ronald Stephen Mitton was born on July 20, 1954; he was the son of the late Cecil and Elsie (MacKenzie) Mitton.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Maureen; their children: Matthew Mitton and his wife Betty of Grand Bay, Curtis Mitton and his wife Diane of Kingston Peninsula and Philip Mitton and his wife Crystal of Hampton; his brothers: Bill Mitton and his wife Jackie of Moncton, Travis Mitton of Sus, Tim Mitton of Penobsquis, Craig Mitton and his wife Judy of Knightville, Cecil Mitton and his wife Linda of Moncton, Danny Mitton and Jeff Mitton and his wife Kelly of Penobsquis; his sisters: Brenda Dunfield of Berwick, Colleen Piers and her husband Gary of Sus Corner, Margaret Francis and her husband Stephen of Norton and Patti Sherwood and her husband Mark of Jeffries Corner; his grandchildren: Laura, Alex, Dillon, Susie, Ryan and Adison; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ronald Stephen Mitton of Sus, formerly of Penobsquis passed away at home with his family by his side on December 8, 2021 at the age of 67.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Glen Mitton; his brother-in-law, Murray Dunfield and his sister-in-law, Doris Mitton.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus NB (506-433-1176). At Ron’s request any arrangements will be held privately.
Donations in memory of Ron may be made to charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
The Honorary Pallbearers are: Harold Secord, Rod Graves, Clayton Mercer, Shane Earle, Colleen Piers, Sandra MacVicar, Lila Patterson and Nancy Secord.
