Evan’s Obituary
Stoddard, Evan Keith – 85, of Clark’s Harbour, passed away at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Born on October 16, 1936 he was a son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Cunningham) Stoddard. Evan enjoyed playing his guitar and was also a member of a band “Misty Blues”. Evan along with his wife Nancy operated the The Hawk Road Shop, in which Evan was well known for his mincemeat and cheese. He was ever social and loved to chat with his customers and friends. Evan is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; son, Eugene (Cathy); grandchildren, James (Amanda) and Christina (Andrew); his cat, Baby; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Evan was predeceased by his siblings, Raymond, Mary and Genevieve. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, from 6-8 at the H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Barrington. Due to Covid 19 restrictions proof of vaccination will be required to attend the visitation. A private family service will be held on Saturday, December 11, at 2: 00 pm. The service will be livestreamed the day of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund or any charity of choice.
