The family announces with great sorrow his death on Wednesday December 1st, 2021 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 86, following a brief courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Lucette (Emond) of 62 years. Dear father of Bob (Barb), Lynn Bergeron (Daniel), and late Daniel (2015) (Angèle).
Loving grandfather of Jamie Leblanc (Melanie), Corey Leblanc (Tamy), Kevin Bordeleau (Nikki), Christine Bordeleau (Rob), Daphnée (Johnny Desgagné), Véronique (Jess), Félipe (Alexis), and Ariel Humphrey (Jordan); great-grandfather of nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Colette Bisson and Hope Sarfie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Eli and Lucia Leblanc, his brothers Marcel, John, Rheal, and Lucien; his sisters Rose and Jeanine; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Raymond Leblanc, his sons-in-law Patrice Bordeleau and Jack Grenon.
Armand was a very good husband, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed by all of us.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital, particularly Dr. Samson and Marnie Chisolm, as well as the Northeast Cancer Centre for their excellent care and compassion.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at 2 p.m. at St Joseph Parish. Respecting provincial guidelines, the wearing of masks, social distancing and maximum number of attendees will be in place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
