William « Billy »‘s Obituary
CROUSE William “Billy”- age 80, Lake Doucette, formally of Beaver River passed on November 30, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born September 26,1941 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, he was the adoptive son of the George and Mabel (Trefry) Deveau. Billy lived as a quadriplegic for 50 years but never lost his love of life. In his younger years he worked at the cotton mill in Yarmouth, working on small engines, at Paul Deveau small engine repair and the local Saw Mill where he suffered his accident. Before his accident Billy was an avid deer hunter, there are stories he could move very quickly in the woods if the game warden was nearby. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to old French music and talking on his CB radio under the name “Big Wheels.” He is survived by his son Joey (Donna) Muise, Concession; Daughters Holly (Janette) Crouse, Meteghan, Cathy (Allain) Crouse and Cindy (Alfred) Melanson both of Lake Doucet; Sister Georgina (Manley) Whynot, Liverpool and brother George Ross; nephew Ashley Whynot. Besides his parents Billy was predeceased by wife Patricia and niece Vilda Whynot. Visitation will be held on Friday December 3,2021 at 10 am from Huskilson’s Funeral Home, with a service following at 11 with Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Burial will follow in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Donation in Memory can be made to the Tri County V.O.N.
