Obituary of Raymond Earl Scribner
Raymond Earl Scribner, of Minto (and formerly of Mississauga, Ontario) passed away at the home of his mother on Sunday evening, November 28, 2021. Ray lost his determined and valiant battle with cancer.
Born in Minto on August 16, 1965, Ray was the beloved son of Mary (Morell) Scribner and the late Alvin Scribner.
He was a graduate of Minto Memorial High School, George Brown College, and was a long-term employee of the Toronto Transit Commission.
Ray is survived by his mother, Mary, his sister Susan (Christopher) Webster of Grafton, New Hampshire and his niece Jessica. Also mourning his passing are his daughter Amanda of Mississauga, Ontario, stepson Kevin Galton-Scribner of Abbotsford, BC, two grand-children, Aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
At Ray’s request, there will be no formal visitation or service at this time. A celebration of the life of Raymond will be held in Spring 2022.
