STAGNO, Alfonso
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Alfonso Stagno on November 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Alfonso passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Salvatrice (nee Randazzo) & was father to Rosalie, Josie (Daniel), brother to Salvatore and sister Diega. He was reunited in Heaven with his parents Ignazio and Rosaria and his siblings Francesco, Calogero, Ignazio, Diego and Maria.
Alfonso touched so many lives with his friendly and generous nature. He was outgoing & social and was happy to befriend anyone who crossed his path. He would rise to the occasion to help family & friends at the drop of a hat. He loved whole heartedly & will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., South of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday November 30, 2021 from 2 – 4 p.m. & 6 – 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W. at Dufferin St.) on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd. at Hwy 27).
Mr. Stagno’s mass will live streamed via St. Charles Borromeo Church’s YouTube channel. Livestreaming will begin Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
