SOPINKA, Irene, Olga – passed peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in her 70th year. She was predeceased by her mother Mrs. Eva Slipak. Beloved sister of Iris Sopinka-Chwaluk (Zenon), Halyna Sopinka –Miller (Richard Nabi) and Lesia Thompson (Jim). She will be sorrowfully missed by her nieces Roxolana Chwaluk, Kathleen and Amanda Thompson as well as her nephews Stepan and Myroslav Chwaluk and Jesse Thompson. Irene was born with special needs but that did not prevent her from enjoying life. Her cheerful and friendly disposition made it easy for her to make friends and her smile was infectious. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to Community Living where Irene lived comfortably for many years.
