LUTKA, Frank Theodore
It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Theodore Lutka announces his passing on November 22, 2021, at the age of 95. Frank is now reunited with his dear parents Annie (nee Tomczena) and William Walter Lutka, his brothers Joe, Walter and John, and his step-brothers Steve and Charlie. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Korbut) for 70 years. Loving father of Norma Jean (Gilberto), Ron and Barbara (Herman). He will forever be cherished by his grandchildren Kristina, Carolyn, Jaclyn, Adam and Daniel. Frank will be fondly remembered by his sister Jennie (Fred), Sisters-in-law Jeanne, Doris (the late Norm) and Anne (Rick), nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Frank was proud of his 44 year career with Bell Canada and his involvement with the Bell Pioneers following his retirement. He was a member of several antique telephone collector clubs and was always involved within the churches he attended. He was one of the founding fathers of West Humber United Church and on the property committee for Westway United Church. Frank’s passions included family gatherings, watching westerns and following his favourite sports teams – The Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He loved attending Ron’s hockey games and was proud to serve as a trainer for a few years. He enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren, reading to them, playing with them, taking them to the park and helping get them to and from school. He also enjoyed attending the school concerts, Kristina’s orchestra concerts, Carolyn’s and Jaclyn’s cross-country meets, Adam’s Art Shows and Daniel’s hockey games. Frank loved growing tomatoes, sometimes from seed, and his lawn was always lush.
