Kenneth was born in Nelson, BC on June 1st, 1933. He grew up on a farm in the Kootneys and joined the Canadian Air Force. Kenneth had a passion for singing and causing trouble at Heritage Square Living Facility. He was known throughout his life for his generous demeanor and how he would drop everything to help someone in need, always donating his summers and free time to his family. Kenneth enjoyed his retirement years road-tripping with his wife and kids. Kenneth went to rest peacefully on November 16th, 2021 in Vernon, BC. He was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed by his step-brother Lorne Reiter, children Gord (Angela) Reiter, Bruce Reiter, Lynn Reiter (Sam Savage), his step-children Kay (Chris) Janicki and Chris (April) Fillary; grandchildren Clayton, Sarah, Amy, Kelsey, Janelle, and Sheldon. Kenneth also left behind three great grand-children with one on the way. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila in 2019 and his parents, Ron and Anne. Kenneth’s family would like to thank the wonderful care team at Heritage Square Living Facility and April, for her support for Ken in his final days.
