Hellen Monica MacDonald (née Meagher), of Tiverton and formerly Cape Breton, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Tiverton Park Manor, on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, in her 97th year.
Cherished wife of the late Alexander MacDonald.
Loving mother of Gerard (Susanne) MacDonald of Sudbury and Brian (Antoinetta) MacDonald of Tiverton.
Dearly missed by her grandchildren Neal (Sarah) MacDonald, Jenna (Tom) Church, Melanie MacDonald and Matthew MacDonald and her great-grandchildren Easton, Everleigh and Oliver.
Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Irene Meagher, and Mary Anne Owsiany.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Lauchie Neil Meagher & Catherine (née MacLellan) Meagher, siblings James Meagher, Allan (Annie) Meagher, Donald (Isabel) Meagher, Joe (Belle) Meagher, John Nicholas (Chad) Meagher, Mary Florence (Joe) Chisolm, Francis Meagher, John A. (Mary) Meagher and James Daniel Meagher.
A private Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated from the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Kincardine.
Final resting place Brook Village Cemetery, Nova Scotia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
