Obituary of Ethel Greenough
Greenough, Ethel – 55 of West Gore passed away suddenly on November 9th, 2021, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax on March 5th, 1966, she was the daughter to the late Donald and Shirley (York) Greenough.
Ethel was a very kind woman with a big heart, always putting others first. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her pride and joy, grandson Jacob. Ethel served as a member of the Gore District Fire Department and Ladies’ Auxiliary for many years. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
Ethel is survived by common-law husband Derrick Stevens, son Robert DeSutter, daughter Amelia DeSutter (Bill), grandson Jacob, brothers Jimmy (Kim), Donald (Maggie), nephew Chris and niece Allie.
Cremation has taken place, there will be a service held on Sunday November 14th, 2021, at 2:30pm in the West Gore Church. Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating, interment will follow in the West Gore Cemetery. Proof of Covid-19 vaccinations along with identification will be required from individuals age 12 years and older.
