Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janina Diodati on November 3, 2021. Janina was predeceased by her devoted husband Jim and her parents (Betty and John Jedwabny).
Janina was born in Scotland in 1946 and came to Canada in 1953.
Janina was a respected educator in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. She retired for the final time as the Superintendent of the Catholic Independent Schools Vancouver Archdiocese in June 2007.
In retirement, she continued her love of teaching by mentoring and tutoring children of all ages. Throughout her life, Janina was a dedicated community volunteer, leveraging her expertise, time, resources, and wide-ranging connections to advance causes that were dear to her heart. This included serving on the executive boards of charities such as the International Centre for Development Learning.
