We are sad to announce the passing of Norah (nee O’Brien) Masterson at The Brant Centre Long Term Care Residence, on November 5, 2021, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of John Masterson for 60 years. Loving mother of Paul Masterson (Jill Armstrong), Jane Fogerty (Jay), and Emily Masterson (Richard Damiani). Cherished grandmother of Emma Masterson (Marc Cavalier), Eric Muir, and Charlie, Julia, Ben and Jack Fogerty. Dear sister of Michael O’Brien (Beryl), Grattan O’Brien (Maureen), Tony O’Brien, the late Helen Huyton, the late Dennis O’Brien (Edie) and the late John O’Brien (Maureen). Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday November 11, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. There are no capacity restrictions for the visitation or service, however proof of full vaccination, photo identification and wearing of masks is required to attend. Private Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. The family thanks the staff at Brant Centre long term care home for their excellent care and attention to Norah’s needs. For those who wish, donations in memory of Norah to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
