Obituary for Zeeta (Zarine) Samuel John
July 23, 1932 – January 16, 2021
My most beautiful, courageous and compassionate Mom passed away on 16th January 2021.
Mom, you buried a husband who died far too young, but you marched on for the two young children you had. Your son died far too young, and though it broke your heart, you marched on for me, your daughter, and grandchildren. You never stopped marching, and fighting and overcoming the obstacles of being a single working mother in India in the 60’s.
Until your weary body and mind decided to go. We will always miss you, to lose you is one of the most difficult things to accept in life, but you have left us so many great memories that we can only imagine you smiling!
Sleep in peace mom. We will learn to manage without you.
