Vernie Mask of Round Lake Centre passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 2nd, 2021 with family by his side, in the home he lovingly built for them over 35 years ago.
Survived by his soulmate of 40 years « Sam » Sandra and his loving children Alyssa (Rick) Malley, Joshua (Lisa) Mask, his grandsons Cameron, Max and Liam. Vernie is the son of Elsie and the late Maxie Mask. Survived by brothers Gerard (Deanne) Mask, Kevin (Karen) Mask and sister Maddy MacDonald.
Brother in law to Anne (Steve) Lawrence, and the late Susan (George) Berger and
many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Known to most as Vern, but to his mom as » the perfect son », he touched the lives of many with his love of family, friends, sports and the great outdoors.
He has left a huge void in the lives of countless folk in a lot of ways. He will not be forgotten but will be cherished every day with all of the wonderful memories he gave us all.
Rest in Peace.
