Obituary of Ted Martin
MARTIN: Peacefully, after a two and a half year, brave and valiant battle with cancer, with his partner by his side, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Tuesday, November, 2, 2021, George Edward “Ted” Martin, of Riverview Meadows, Exeter, formerly of Wasaga Beach and Burford, in his 70th year. Dedicated and loved partner of Yvonne Marie (Giroux) Thomas. Survived by his daughter Tara (Andy) Osmond of Waterdown and his son Shaun Martin of North Kahshe Lake. Fondly remembered by Cameron Thomas of Toronto, Jodie (Richard) and Liam Hughes of Burlington and Blair Dawes of Paris, ON. Predeceased by his parents George and Pauline (Taugher) Martin and brother Tom Martin. At Ted’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Nursing Staff of St. Elizabeth Health Care (Cassie and Kendall) for their support and dedication and Dr. Ming Lam for her care throughout the last two weeks at Jessica’s House.
