It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ted Kovacs on Sunday, October 31 2021. Ted is survived by his wife of 47 year Maryellen, his sister in law Ida Kovacs, his two sons Jason and Kris (Melissa) Kovacs and his three wonderful grandchildren Kamryn, Jackson and Luca. Ted dedicated his life to serving the people of Milton with his countless hours of volunteer time with Milton Minor Baseball Association and with the Milton Minor Hockey League. Teds illustrious career in the Fire Alarm industry spanned more then 50 years to include work at Edwards, Simplex/Tyco and Mircom. When Ted wasn’t working he enjoyed Skiing, golfing and spending time with friends and family.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 7th 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions in Halton, attendance is limited. Please book your visitation time slot online in the RSVP section to ensure your attendance. These booked visitation times are strict, so we ask that you show up for entrance at your allotted time.
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle. Please refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands and please keep your face mask on at all times.
In lieu of flowers the family has request a donation be made to the Milton District Hospital Foundation.
