At the Palace Long Term Care, Alexandria on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Rosabel Ménard (nee Lalonde) of Alexandria; age 82 years. Beloved wife of Marcel Ménard. Loving mother of Robert Laszewski (Stephanie) of Cornwall, Marc Ménard (Christine Gauthier) of Coteau du Lac, and Manon Ménard (David Montone) of Alexandria. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Alexandre, Ashlea, Nicholas, Courtney, Mathieu, Sarah, and Mackenzie, and great grandmother of Kenzley. Dear sister of Romeo Lalonde of Alexandria, and Georgina Laszewski of Cornwall. Predeceased by her brothers Henry, Daniel, Ernest, and Rhéal, by her sisters Eva Seguin, and Theresa Quesnel, and by her parents George and Margaret Lalonde (nee Kitts). She will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. Alexander Cemetery, Lochiel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
