Obituary for Maria Regalo
Maria Regalo of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at the CKHA in Chatham on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 84. Maria is the daughter of the late Manuel and Mercedes (Bettencourt) Matos. Maria is the wife of Humberto Regalo. Predeceased by her beloved son Domingos on September 21, 2021. Loving grandmother of Marshall Regalo (Kodie) and Michelle Regalo (Ernesto) and cherished great grandmother of Zavier Regalo, Amira and Julian Chahine and baby girl to come. Sister of Domingos, Nazario, Eugenia, Maria do Carmo, Helena and the late Clarimundo. Maria was passionate about her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her garden with everything revolving around them. She took great pride in her Garden of beautiful colourful flowers. She had retired from Libbey Glass and Wabtec Foundry. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, October 27 from 1-3 PM. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection to follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 3 PM. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.
