Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 11, 2021, in his 86th year. Allen was born on May 5, 1936 in Toronto. He enjoyed a long career at Canadian General Electric in Oakville before retiring in 1991. He is survived by Maureen Kamp of Kirkcaldy, Scotland; by his children Wayne Henry of Woodstock, Wendy Kane of Milton, Robin (April) Henry of Woodstock, Julie (Lee) Kamp of Centreville, and Brian (Karen) Kamp of Woodstock; and by his brothers Leslie Henry of Weymouth, NS, John (Sharon) Henry of Eganville, and Philip (Vanda) Henry of Mississauga. Loving grandfather of Amy (Ty) Carr, Chelsea Kane, Rachel Kane, Kaitlyn (Patrick) Micacchi, Jessica Farrell, Riley Lamont, Ben Lamont, Ethan Emerson, and Avelea Emerson. Great-grandfather of Dakota, Jersey, DeAndre, and Maya. Predeceased by his parents Delbert and Eileen Henry; his son Gordon Henry (1957); his brothers Fred, Mickey, Bob, Carl, Clifford, Irvine, and Donny; and his sisters Dorothy and Sandy. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
