Obituary
George Karl Oster passed away at his home in Calgary, AB, on January 21, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
George was born July 11, 1933. He moved from Saskatchewan in 1973 to Calgary and started his home building company named Ges Homes Ltd. George is survived by his wife Sharon; two daughters – Georgina Tucker of Calgary and Marilyn (Garry) Peters of Cornwall; his son Dale Oster of Calgary; two step children Bob (Lisa) Young of Omaha, and Mona (Harry) Vogel of Calgary; two sisters – Fran of Moose Jaw, and Margaret (Doug) of Kelowna; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents George and Mary Oster; brother-in-law Don Slader; a niece and a nephew. George will be missed by his dear friend Ron Waltz and by his Riverside family.
A special little quote From George, “Why hurry little river, why hurry so fast, you have nothing to do, but sink into the blue”. You will be remembered forever in our hearts.
