October 3, 2021 at 61 years of age.
Cherished daughter of Margaret and the late Alexander Edmiston. Loving sister of Alix and her husband Robert Arpin. Beloved partner of Michael Wagstaff. She was devoted to her little dog Loki who gave her so much joy. She will be sadly missed by her family in Scotland, particularly her cousin David.
Carolyn was a creative soul who was guided by passion and commitment, whether it was working as a customs broker where she made many dear friends; enjoying family visits in the UK with Michael and his family; spending memorable Christmases in Scotland with her extended family, and relishing in weekend outings with her mother and sister. She was thrilled to achieve a lifelong dream to travel to Egypt where she stood in front of the great pyramids, rode a camel and explored the Nile. She loved to surround herself with beautiful and delicate things, devour great books, and make people laugh. She was a gifted artist who captured the beauty in the world in paint.
If you so desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 585 Sandwich St. S, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
