Julia Hutchinson
1922-2021
BASS RIVER POINT, NB – Julia Ellen Hutchinson 99,
of Bass River Point passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing
Home on Monday, October 4, 2021. It is with a lifetime of memories and
love we release our mother to her new heavenly home where her beloved
Ward of 79 years will be waiting for
her.
Born on March 23, 1922 in Targetville, Julia was the daughter
of the late Joseph MacEachern and Sarah « Sadie » (Sullivan)
MacEachern. Julia and Ward were married August 1, 1942 and
she lived her life alongside ward for 79 years and was a devoted
mother and homemaker. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens,
helping Ward on the farm and spending time with
family.
Julia was a charter member and treasurer of St.
Stephen’s Cemetery Fund, a charter member of the I.O.D.E and
a past charter member of the
L.O.B.A.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, daughter
Ellen (late Harold), Blair, Fred (Eleanor); grandchildren, Trevor,
Troy, Brian, Heather, Scott, Sherry and thirteen great
grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband Ward (deceased 2018),
Julia was predeceased by her brothers, Cecil, Harris, Orley, Ernest
and sisters, Florence, Annie, Emily, infant twin brothers and a
sister.
Arrangement Revision:
Due to the impending Covid-19 circuit breaker restrictions, there will
be no public visitation at Thompson’s Funeral
Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October
7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen’s United Church Cemetery
in Molus River.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Julia’s
memory to the St. Stephen’s Cemetery Fund, Rexton Lions
Nursing Home or charity of the donor’s
choice.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff
at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home for the compassion, love and care
given to both their parents and our family while they were residents
there.
