It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elsie Eleanor Mae Schultz (nee Mulla) on September 28, 2021, at the age of 61 in East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, MB.
She is survived by her daughter April Schultz (Steve Joss) of Ste. Genevieve, MB and her precious granddaughter Paige Willkie; brothers and sisters Ernie (Mavis), Allan (Lorraine), Joe (Kim), Joyce (Tony) Halama, and Sue (Randy) Rieger; mother-in-law Celina Schultz; brothers-in-law Ken, Jimmy, and Robert (Karen) Schultz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Elsie is reunited with her beloved husband David who passed in 2019; her father-in-law, John Schultz; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Helwer; as well as all those who she has said goodbye to in the past.
Elsie was born in Beausejour, MB on April 22, 1960 and raised in Tyndall, MB. She was always there for anyone who needed her and loved being around her family and friends. She enjoyed her outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, bonfires with friends and family, as well as playing cards, reading, listening to music, and taking care of her fur babies. Her greatest joy was being around her family. Spending time with April, Paige and sister Sue always made her day.
Special thanks go out to the staff at East Gate Lodge for their care and compassion over the years she was there. Cremation has taken place at Seasons Funeral Chapel in Oakbank, with a private family celebration to take place at a future date.
