Mary Theresa Kennedy
August 25, 1933 – January 21, 2021
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Theresa Kennedy of Trepassey at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Annie Tobin, her husband Thomas, children Linda, Noel and Donna, Son in Law Gary, Daughter in Law Arlene. As well as the many relatives of the Tobin and Kennedy families.
Left with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, Gerard (Barb), Carl (Helen), Verna (Randy), Edna (Dave), Michael, Darin (Denise) Melinda (Paul) Sean, Lisa (Dermot Jr). Mourning the loss is her loving sister Shirley, and special brother in-law Brian Delahunty and their 4 children and their families. Mary will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
A huge thank you for the compassionate care given by Dr. Thomas McGarry. Special thanks to nurse Lorna Lawlor for the many home visits. The family is forever grateful to Home Care workers Gloria and Marge. Your kindness is beyond measure.
Visitation will take place at Fahey’s Funeral Home Trepassey NL on Friday, January 22nd from
7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday, January 23rd from 10 am to 12 pm; 2 pm to 5:00 and 7 pm to 9pm. Funeral Service will be at Holy Redeemer Church on Sunday, January 24th at 11:30 am with burial to follow. The funeral will take place during the regular Sunday service. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
