JODKO-NARKIEWICZ, Karol
1944 – 2021
Karol (Karl) Jodko-Narkiewicz passed away September 17, 2021, the day after his 77th birthday. He was the only child, born in Scotland to Pavel and Margo Jodko-Narkiewicz during the war.
Karol was a British police officer in his younger years. He emigrated to Canada with his first wife, where they started their family. Karol later became an insurance broker in the Kirkland Lake area and continued that job until retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, ice fishing, cutting firewood, etc. around his home and in Sesekinika. He loved reading and animals, especially his pet cats. Karol also enjoyed playing volleyball weekly with his friends in Kirkland Lake. He was an active member of the Masonic community and proud to have been a past Grand Master.
Karol is survived by his loving second wife Sheree Myers and his four children: Kirsten (James), Tristan (Lynn), Samantha, and Duncan (Nancy) and his nine grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Karol’s life and any donations offered are asked to be made to Teck Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff at the Temiskaming Shores and Kirkland Lake hospitals, as well as the wonderful and loving staff at Teck Pioneer Residence. Thank you for taking such good care of our loved one, you are truly special.
