Mrs. Gladys Mabel “Betty” Padbury passed away at the Vernon Heritage Square Home on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Our sincerest thanks and gratitude extends to the staff of Heritage Square for their kind care and attention to Betty. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Judy (Arnold) of Lake Country, BC., Marlene (Ralph) of Innisfil, Ontario, and Duncan (Claudia) of Calgary, Alberta, her eight grandchildren Leanne (Jim), Jacquie (Rick), Penny, Brent (Carolyn), Stacie (Jason), Niki (Andrew), Dan (Rebecca), and Bradley (Willow), her seven great-grandchildren, Sara, Aaron, John, Connor, Ruby, Ravin and Claire, and sisters-in-law Marjorie Rush and Millie Smith. Betty was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Frank Padbury, and her brother Roy Smith. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no Celebration of Life Service. Interment of Betty’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in Aylesbury, Saskatchewan, where after 19 years she will be with Frank again.
