Passed away peacefully and surrounded with love at Innisfree Hospice on August 24, 2021 at the age of 60. Loving husband of Brenda and cherished father of Cassandra (Josh), Brandon, Amanda (Jim) and Nicole. Loving grandpa to Peyton, Dreysun, Ethan, Sunnisha, Tara and Kieryn. Dear son of Margaret Brocklebank (Ed), he is survived by his siblings Phyllis (Sam), Karen, Brenda (Peter), Sherri and the late Wanda. Brian will be fondly remembered by his in-laws Margaret Bradley (Gord), Carrie Smith (Jamie), Donna Ashe (Richard), David Smith and Lou-Ann Wells (Dave). Predeceased by his father Wallace Eric Budgell, sister Wanda Budgell, sister-in-law Sandy Smith, father-in-law Leonard Smith and mother-in-law Jean Smith.
Brian’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Brian’s life will be in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to attend Brian’s visitation or Life Celebration must RSVP by visiting the funeral home website or by telephone.
