Annie Laura Green
April 25,1923- August 20, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Annie L. Green announces
her passing in her 98th year, Friday August 20th at the Grand Falls
General Hospital. Annie was born on April 25, 1923 to Edward and Ruby
(Antworth) Brown, in Summerfield N.B. She married the love of her
life, Roy, on September 15, 1951 with a daughter, Sandra, following a
few years later.
Annie was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Maurice and George
and her sister Evelyn (Hill).
Annie is survived by her daughter Sandra Green (Mark Glass),
grandchildren, Hunter Green-Glass, Summer Green-Glass (Jordan
Christensen) and Spencer Green-Glass.
Despite Annie’s sincere wish for her service to be held at Faith
Memorial UC, Covid restrictions and the desire to ensure that all of
Annie’s friends and neighbours could attend the visitation and
the service, visitation will occur at L.R. Giberson’s Funeral
Directors, 207 Burnham Road Florenceville, NB, Tuesday August 24th
from 3pm to 6pm.
Because of the rising Covid case numbers occurring in New Brunswick,
elsewhere in Canada and the US, we would request that all visitors
follow Covid precautions by wearing a mask and taking care in social
distancing when attending the funeral home. The Family will observe
Covid precautions in the receiving line.
The funeral service will be at 2pm, Wednesday August 25th at L.R.
Giberson Funeral Directors. For those unable to attend, the service
will be live streamed on the internet and will be available on the
L.R. Giberson Facebook page.
