April M. Foster
1947-2021
April Marie Foster, of Beechwood, wife of Charles Foster and by
previous marriage, Frederick Wiley went to be with her Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Upper River Valley
Hospital, Waterville. April was born April 13, 1947 in Bath and was
the daughter of the late James and Vivian (Giberson) Kearney. She was
also predeceased by her first husband, Fredrick Wiley; 1 son, Tracey
Wiley and 1 brother, Wayne Kearney.
April is survived by her loving husband, Charles; 1 son Troy Wiley
(Loretta) of Norman Wells, NT; her 3 beloved grandchildren, Gwendolyn,
Seth and Sommer; 1 great grandson, William; 3 siblings, Gary Kearney
(Debbie) of Beechwood, Tom Kearney (Lorraine) of Fredericton and
Jeannie Kearney of Fredericton; 3 step children, Eric, Matthew and
Marcie Foster as well as many nieces, nephews and extended
family.
A Beechwood girl at heart, April returned to her roots after
completion of her X-Ray program in Fredericton and a short time later
she was working at the Northern Carleton Hospital, Bath where she
remained until its closing. April has been a lifelong member at the
Beechwood Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00
am from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel, 207 Burnham Rd.
Florenceville-Bristol. Pastor Dan Ryan will officiate. A private
interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery. A time of fellowship and
refreshment will follow the service at the Beechwood Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Beechwood Baptist Church,
Pulmonary Fibrosis Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice
