Margaret Jean Stoodley
“Peggy”
of Palmerston and formerly of Pickering and New Brunswick, passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Friday, January 15, 2021 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Aaron Stoodley. Dear mother of Shirlee and Rick Bell of Listowel, Carl and Patti Stoodley of Niagara Falls and Robert and Marianne Stoodley of St. Catherines. Grandmother of Leeanne and Scott Hunt of Wingham; Edward Kennedy of Saskatchewan, Brad Kennedy, Thomas and Kim Kennedy Chris and Joanne Bell all of Listowel; Brian and Lena Carlaw, Andrew Stoodley and Kimberly and Aaron Carrado all of Niagara Falls. Great grandmother of Nathan, Samantha, Kiera, Owen, Lily, Ivy, Coral, Angelina, Grayson, Oakley and many more step great grandchildren. Sister of Deborah Brando of New Brunswick. Sister-in-law of Eleanor Stoodley of Newfoudland. Predeceased by one daughter Sandra Widmaier, one son John Eagles, two sisters Bernice Smith and Dorothy Langille, two brothers Charles and Robert Cook.
To honour Peg’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A private graveside service will take place in the spring at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
