Obituary for Joyce (Taylor) Smolinski
November 20, 1956 – June 29, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce on June 29, 2021, at age 64. Joyce was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and survived by husband Lewis, brother Allan, sister Vicki (Dennis), daughters Jennifer (Brad) and Tammy, stepdaughter Rosilee (Ed,) stepson Michael (Catherine), niece Crystal, 12 grandchildren, and many wonderful friends. Joyce was preceded by her mother Betty in 1994 and her father Earl in 2005.
Joyce was a dedicated office employee with BC Hydro Temp Agency for many years. She had a passion for travel, rock’n at music concerts, enjoying nature and socializing at Army & Navy Club with Lewis, family and friends. She will be remembered for her cheerful hellos, joyful laughter, kindness, generosity, loyalty and great conversations. Most of all, we will miss her warm, welcoming home and delicious cooking that brought family and friends together. Joyce was loved by all who knew her and will be forever in our hearts.
There will be no service for Joyce, at her request. In lieu of flowers, enjoy a walk in the forest or by the ocean, enjoy a hearty dinner with your loved ones and connect soul-to-soul with our beloved Joyce during full moon.
