Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, August 16, 2021. Edna Beischlag (nee Clark) of Jarvis, in her 90th year. Beloved wife for 59 years of John Beischlag (deceased September 24, 2009) Mother of Paul and Cindy, Tom and Teresa, Dan and Lu-Ann, Eric and Jane, and Susan and Nick Solda. Loving grandmother of Matthew and Amy Beischlag, Jordan Moore, Joelle and Eric Giles, Jake Beischlag, Michael and Andrea Dalimonte, Stephanie Beischlag and Todd Marshall, Daniella and Jon Ingrao, Jason Beischlag, Alexis Solda. Proud great-grandmother of Darcy and Casey, Mide and Maeve, Hazel and Tilia and Alexander and step great granddaughter Taylor Ann. Survived by sisters-in-law Katie Kew, Irene Brooks, Mary Beischlag and Mary Nickel and brother-in-law Victor Beischlag. Family was Edna’s world. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and special occasions cooking incredible meals. Mom was known as “the cake lady” due to the numerous cakes she made with her amazing decorating skills. She was also a very gifted seamstress, piano teacher, animal lover, cub/scout leader. She was a long time member of the Garnet United Church where she enjoyed playing the organ. Mom and Dad enjoyed many years travelling the world together. She was the source of love and kindness and hospitality that tied us all together in one big family. A Memorial Service and interment of the cremated remains for Edna will be held at Garnet United Church Cemetery for the immediate family.
