RICHARD “DUSTIN” COSMAN
MAY 24, 1981 – JAN. 1, 2021
It is with extreme sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Dustin Cosman, on January 1, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Rick Cosman and Cheryl Fraser Cosman; brother Brent (Kaitlin Glad), nephew Landon and nieces Tenley, Laney and Jacey Cosman; niece Alexia MacDougall; his special buddies Devo and Odie; grandparents Reg Cosman and Ruth Nickerson; and many more loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Dustin was pre-deceased by his brother Karac Cosman and cousin Trevor Hanley.
Dustin was a true family man. He loved his family and would do anything for them as well as his friends. He was a talented, determined, kind, funny, generous and supportive soul. He was a bright star and loved by so many.
Dustin started his career as a crane operator in the Fort McMurray Oil Fields. In his pastime, he enjoyed hockey and had a passion for weightlifting and body building. He moved to Edmonton in 2013 and started his coaching business, Full Force Fitness Canada. In 2016 he opened the doors to Full Force Fitness Club, a great accomplishment that combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his passion for bodybuilding and educating others.
Dustin’s dedication and commitment to those he coached was exemplary. His coaching and guidance resulted in many trophies and awards in recognition of his client’s achievements. Dustin worked closely with upwards of a thousand individuals to assist them in achieving their personal goals. He was much more than a coach, he was a mentor and a friend. He was a truly genuine person, grateful for the opportunity to help so many others achieve their goals. An amazing guide for so many in life.
Dustin himself, achieved the amazing feat of winning Eight National Body Building Championship Titles. Dustin lived his life passionately and despite his many achievements, remained humble.
Family and friends always knew they could count on “D” for support and advice regardless of the situation. Dustin, you will live on through those whose lives you have touched. We are alltruly blessed to have been a part of your short but impactful life, you will be so deeply missed.
A “Go Fund Me” account has been set up for Dustin’s Estate. Donations may be made by visiting; www.gofund.me/f048cbb7
