Peacefully at Bluewater Health with family by her side, Georgina (nee Kontakos) Fragis on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in her 104th. year. Predeceased by her husband Nikolaos Fragis (2014). Much loved mother of Tony Frangis and his wife Dina and the late Angela Kapetanakis and her husband John, John Fragis and his wife Bessie. Cherished grandmother of Nick (Allison), Georgia (Taylor), Niko, Pano, Stavro, Irene (Menelaos), and Georgia (Platonas) as well as 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings; Panagioti, Niko, Vassiliki. Born in Paleopanagia, Greece, mom emigrated to join her husband in 1961. She and her husband Nikolaos were the owners of the Embassy Restaurant in downtown Sarnia for 12 years and was a prominent member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. A private family visitation and funeral service will take place at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery. Once the Covid 19 Pandemic has ended there will be a memorial service to celebrate mom’s life. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (1299 Murphy Road, Sarnia, ON N7T 3L9). Arrangements entrusted to the D. J.
