Campbell, Barbara Jean
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 10th, 2021 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of David Campbell for 53 years. Loving mother of Douglas – predeceased and Shaelagh. Proud grandmother of Taryn and Connor. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Margaret Spencer. Dear sister of Mary Lou Lawson (Mike) – both predeceased, Shelia Coe (Ted), Carol O’Kane (Mike-predeceased), Lynne Taylor (Dave), Larry Spencer (Sally) and Jim Spencer (Chris – predeceased). Barb will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to Dr. Erika Catford and the caring nurses on the Soldiers’ and Harvey floors at OSMH for their excellent care and compassion. A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E. Orillia on Thursday August 26th, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tributes will be at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or to Mariposa House Hospice through the Simcoe Funeral Home (705) 327 0221.
