Obituary of Betty Louise Morgan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Betty Louise Morgan, 82 years young, of Cambridge passed away on August 3, 2021 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Clementsvale, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Verdun (Wamboldt) Dukeshire.
Betty worked in the Canex Food Services at CFB Cornwallis most of her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking the most delicious meals and goodies for her family and she took great pride in knitting and making quilts as gifts for her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Over the years she donated a number of quilts to the HMCS/CFB Cornwallis Military Museum for fund raising events. After Betty retired from Canex, she volunteered for a number of years at the HMCS/CFB Cornwallis Military Museum; and she was a proud member of the Liberal Party of Canada and Nova Scotia.
Our Mother, “Mom”, and Grandmother will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
Betty is survived by her five loving daughters Margaret “Peggy” (William “Bill”) Power of Medicine Hat, AB; Patty Morgan (Russell Rochon) of Cambridge; Shireen Morgan (Larry Stevens) of Cambridge; Kathy (Paul) Starkey of Coles Island, NB; Deneen Morgan (Paul Gates) of South Milford; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren; brothers Carroll and LeRoy; sisters Marlene, Gloria, Kathleen and Diane.
