Ronald LeBlanc
1936-2021
REXTON, NB – Ronald LeBlanc, 84, passed away
peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Saturday, August
7th, 2021. Born in Dupuis Corner, he was the
son of the late Aristide and Bertha LeBlanc. Before retiring, Ronald
worked in construction. He also served in the Royal Canadian Navy from
1954-1962, where as a Leading Seamen Engineering Mechanic, he spent
three years in England aboard the submarine Artemis.
Ronald leaves to mourn this common law spouse, Alvetta
Richard (née Thibodeau) of Rexton; his three sons, Wayne of
Moncton, Daniel and Daryl (Jen) both of Mississauga, ON; his two
stepdaughters, Tina Richard (Gary) of Dieppe and Brenda Richard of
Moncton; his five stepsons, Eloi Jr. Richard (Rosslyn) of West
Galloway, Normand Richard (Marilyn), Jackie Richard, Daniel Richard
(Linda), all three of Rexton and Jason Richard (Melissa) of Aldouane;
his four grandchildren, Christopher, Madison, Even and Remi, 16
step-grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ronald will also be sadly missed by his four sisters, Noraine
Robinson (late Fred) of California, US, Lorette LeBlanc of Cap Pele,
Rosaline LeBlanc (Tom) of Sudbury, ON and Geraline LeBlanc of Cap
Pele; six brothers, Aris of Cocagne, Louis of St. Andre, Normand,
Raymond (Janice), Gene (Diane), all three of Cap Pele and David
(Maria) of Dupuis Corner; as well as by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his first
wife, the mother of his children, Juliette (Cormier); step-mother,
Ethel Curtis-LeBlanc; and his two sisters Camilla Cormier and Dianna
LeBlanc.
Following Ronald’s wishes, there will be no
visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in
Ronald’s memory may be made to the New Brunswick Alzheimer
Society (www.alzheimer.ca/nb/)
