Mr. David Miller Marler
November 13th, 1944 – August 5th,2021.
David Marler of Tofield, AB was born to Edith and Roy Marler in Edmonton, AB on Nov. 13, 1944; he passed away in Tofield, AB on August 5, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jan; and children, Deanne (Jamie) and Brent (Pauline); grandchildren, Ashley (Ricky), Aaron (Sasha), Kayla (Ted), Braeden (Emma), and Justin (Maggie); great grandchildren, Ethan, Khloe, Beau, Alix, Mia, Ellie, and Weston; his siblings, Doreen, Bob, Rick, Maxine and their families; as we as numerous extended family, friends and neighbors.
David is predeceased by his parents, Edith and Roy Marler; and siblings Garnett, Minerva, Neil, Bernice, Reggie, Oma, Basil, and Allan.
David farmed along side Jan in the Ross Creek area for 52 years and retired five years ago. He loved his family and was a fair, loyal, trustworthy, and firm man, with a good sense of humor. He loved playing hockey, fastball, and darts.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
