Wilmer C. Dickson
1942 – 2021
Wilmer Campbell Dickson, husband of the late Mary Anne (Arseneau) Dickson of Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on August 4, 2021, at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, on September 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Walter and Stella (Campbell) Dickson. He was a retired employee of D.N.D the former CFB Chatham. He attended St. Andrew’s United Church.
Wilmer is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Brown (Don) of Napan; son, Roger Dickson (companion Tina) of Napan; four grandchildren: Alex, Ryan, Matthew and Colby; two step-grandchildren: Seanna and Tinika; brother, Frank Dickson (Kelly) of Napan; sister-in-law, Mary Dickson of Alberta; special brother-in-law, Gerard Arseneau of Napan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Mary Anne Dickson; two brothers: Robert (Edythe) and Allen.
A PUBLIC visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 6-9 PM. A PUBLIC funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 2 PM, with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery.
PLEASE NOTE: The funeral home will be taking a flexible Living with COVID-19 approach based on the needs of each family while respecting the guidelines set by the individual facilities where funeral services may be held. At this time facemasks and social distancing are encouraged at both the funeral home, and St. Andrew’s United Church.
