MR. JAMES DUNCAN NICHOLSON
Evangelist, of Sundridge
Peacefully at his home on Tuesday August 3, 2021. Jim Nicholson, beloved husband of Joan, was in his 87th year.
Precious father of Lori Reynolds (Alan), Lisa Hains (John) and Chris Nicholson (Julie).
Beloved grandfather of Michelle (Jacob), Keri Lynn, Joel (Megan), Laura (Jason), Samuel, Hope and Silas.
Great grandfather of Kate, Olivia, Jackson, Cate, Grace, Joshua, Jacob, Cecilia, Ava and Myla.
He is predeceased by his parents Duncan and Marie Nicholson and siblings Beatrice, Gladys, Evelyn, Christina, May, Alexander (Bun) and William (Bill).
Jim will be fondly remembered by all of his family, friends, church family, community and the many people he encountered at the garden centre over the years.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday August 13, 2021, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions on attendance numbers a private family service to celebrate Jim’s life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 14, 2021, with Chris Nicholson officiating.

Interment in Strong Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Algonquin Grace Hospice, or the VON would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
