Peter passed away peacefully at his cottage on August 1, 2021 at the tender age of 67. He will be forever loved by his wife, Anna. Cherished by his dear children, Anthony (Antonia) and Nancy. Never forgotten by his grandchildren, Peter and Marcus. Peter will always be remembered by his siblings, Bernardina (Amedeo), Gina and Rita (Gerardo). He will always be held dear in the hearts of his loving nieces and nephews. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 5-9pm. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge, Ontario) on Thursday August 4, 2021 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery (1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, Ontario). If so desired in lie of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. This also includes the church and the cemetery.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church.
As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
