Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021 at 73 years of age. Beloved husband of Judy for 51 years. Loving father of Scott (Kristin), and Shelley (Paul) Talbot. Precious Pepe of Lucas, Emma, Chantal and Jordan. Dear brother of Doris White (Herb), Anna Morencie (the late Lorenzo), Frank Renaud (Shirley), Bella St. Denis (Willie), Evariste Renaud (Theresa), and Leah Lucier (the late Lawrence). Loved brother-in-law of Diane Wyatt (Bruce), Roger Drouillard (Sandy), Nancy Reaume (Danny), Denis Drouillard (Valerie), Denise Ford (Tom), Cathy Rutherford (the late Steve), Sharron Bezaire (Richard) and Calvin Drouillard (Nancy). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Gord retired from Chrysler in 2001 after 31 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted member of Knights of Columbus McGregor for 51 years, as well as a member of the Order of the Alhambra, and served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Anderdon Fire Department for many years. If you so desire, donations to K of C McGregor would be appreciated by the family. On Tuesday, July 27, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 2 – 4 pm & 6 – 8 pm at Families First 585 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg (519-969-5841). On Tuesday July 27, 2021 parish prayers will be held at 6:00 pm, a separate reservation is needed to attend. On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, a funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11am, with visiting prior to the service from 10 – 11am. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
