Obituary of Constantine Papadimitriou
Papadimitriou, Constantine “Gus”- passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday July 16, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving dad of Basiliki and her husband Francesco Passaretti and Stan and his wife Angela. Dear Papou of Gabriel and Nicolas Passaretti and Sophia and John Papadimitriou. He is survived by his sister Dimitria (Mimi) and her husband Paul Peppas of Port Colborne, his sister Evangelia Kiousis of Greece, his brother Basil Papadimitriou of France and his sister- in-law Basilik Dedes of Greece. Gus will be lovingly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends both in Canada and Greece. Gus was loved by many. He worked at INCO for 35 years and enjoyed is wood carving, fishing and gardening during his retirement years. His family and close friends meant the world to him and he cherished the time spent together. The Papadimitriou family will receive friends at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St., Port Colborne on Monday July 19, 2021 from 4-7pm. The Thrice Holy Hymn/Trisagio and funeral will occur on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at 12:00p.m. at the St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street, St. Catharines. Final Thrice Holy Hymn service will take place at the burial site at Holy Cross Cemetery in Welland. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church or Hamilton Health Sciences would be appreciated by the family.
