Obituary of John Gemmell
Jack passed away peacefully at the Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc, on Wednesday July 14th, 2021 in his 79th year. Son of the late William and Jessie Gemmell. Beloved husband of Patricia Ann Gemmell (nee-Courneyea). Brother of Bill (Kristine) Gemmell of Burlington. A Memorial service will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street W., (613-968-2273) Belleville, on Wednesday July 21st, 2021 at 1.00 p.m., with visitation from 12.00 noon until service time. Those wishing to attend the visitation and/or service are asked to preregister by emailing rsvp@steelefuneralhome.ca or by calling 613-968-2273 between 9 am and 5 pm. Following the service, a private family inurnment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. If desired, Memorial donations to the Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc. would be appreciated.
