Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Victoria Alice Insco announces her passing in the early morning hours of July 10, 2021 at the age of 66. Mom fought a courageous battle, passing away peacefully, all pain gone.
Torrie, as she was known by all who loved her, was born in Camrose, AB on October 5, 1954 to Donald & Joan Walline. She was the second of four children.
Torrie met Kalven in 1971 and they married on July 7, 1973 having just celebrated their 48th anniversary with plans for many more to come. Together they had 3 children – Dana, Michelle, & Indigo – and many adventures. From camping trips around Alberta, BC, and Montana, driving across Canada to Ontario & to California to take their kids to Disneyland, but their favourite was the exotic places like Jamaica, Hawaii, and Mexico. In 2018 she was able to fulfill her dream of seeing Paris & London with Michelle.
Mom was incredibly creative and an artistically talented painter. Her creations will live on in many homes.
Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kalven. He will forever miss her. As well as her children Dana Wagner (Lee), Michelle Hillier, and Indigo Wren. She was an adoring & proud Nanny to Natasha Wagner, Ian Mercer, and Phinn Mercer. Her father Donald Walline, and siblings Christine Sloman, Bonnie Walline, Keith (Leanne) Walline, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother Joan Walline, and mother in law Lily Insco.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, her memory cherished in our hearts.
Fly with the angels! We love you!
A Public Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel at 2:00 pm.
