SMITH, Cherie Margaret Robin – It is with heavy hearts the family of Cherie Smith announces her passing in Welland on Monday, January 11, 2021 in her 71st year. Beloved mother of Scott Smith. Predeceased by her parents Isobel and John Doan, her sister Clardia Delle Monache (Frank), brothers Lonnie (Irene), Bob and Leslie. She was loved and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Cherie was a member of First Baptist Church of Welland where she had been on The Worship team, playing her bass and vocals. God had blessed Cherie with many talents. Her greatest desire was “Everyone will get to know Jesus.” A private graveside service has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
