Major Rick Pollard
May 27, 1960 – July 6, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Major Rick Pollard announce his passing at Credit Valley Hospital on July 6, 2021 at the age of 61 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Drucella; his son Justin(Toni); grandsons: Robert and Douglas; granddaughter: Carma. Rick also leaves to mourn his brothers Hayward(Joan), Alwin (Fay); sisters Evelyn(Elias), Yvonne(Fred), Irene and Joan; sister-in-law Joy; along with a large circle of other relatives, nieces and nephews, in-laws, family and dear friends. Rick was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Bessie Pollard, brother: Wilmore Sisters: Sadie, Edith, Fannie, Myrtle; as well many other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly. Rick will be forever remembered for his kindness and giving way.
In lieu of flowers, any donations will be forwarded to the Salvation Army Acton Corps. A very special ‘Thanks’ to the Palliative Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga.
A Private Visitation and Service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Majors Max and Doreen Struge will be officiating. Family and Friends are invited to watch the Funeral Service By livestream.
